What is Kritter Kamp?
Kritter Kamp is a licensed wildlife rehabilitation facility in Marion Center, Pennsylvania. It is dedicated to providing care to orphaned, injured, sick, or displaced wildlife in order to give them a second chance and enable them to be released back into their habitats. Kritter Kamp provides a physical examination and treatment for any injuries and shock. If it is necessary, they will transport the animal for treatment by a veterinarian.
Kritter Kamp is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization, that strives to teach the importance of empathy when dealing with animals as well as people. Educational programs are offered to schools, student groups, scout troops, or other groups to increase awareness and appreciation of native wild animals. Kritter Kamp cares for approximately 350 on average orphaned, injured, or sick animals each year.
